        So, nurse Pamela Jane Nye used her savings and retirement income to create THE NURSES WALL --  a global, public-supported gift to annually recognize and pay tribute to the world's 27+ million unsung hero nurses, and to memorialize the 2,500 nurses who died choosing to work and provide care for their pandemic-battling patients.
